In this Privacy Policy, “Contura” or “We” represents the concern of Jayashri Enterprises and “Customer”, “User” and “You” represents the concern of users or customers of Contura. This privacy policy covers in detail the collection, usage and disclosure of personal information that is collected by Contura from its customers and users. This information may also be related to the past usage of Contura products or services by the customer. All personally identifiable information like name, address, email address or phone number and any information that is not publicly available is considered as “personal information” herein.

Contura collects information from customers at the point of purchase as a part of the buying and selling process. Customer information comprises of name, address, email address, billing and payment information pertaining to the purchase transaction completed at the website. Contura also automatically receives the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer through which any customer browses our website. Contura may disclose customers’ personal information collected at the time of registration, if –

5. SHOPIFY

Contura website is hosted on Shopify Inc. Our e-commerce platform is completely hosted by Shopify, and this enables us to sell all our products and services to our customers based in various geographical locations. All the information pertaining to purchase on the website and customer data for order delivery is stored via Shopify database storage and the general Shopify application. All customer data of Contura is securely saved with multiple layers of firewall on Shopify server.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. The PCI Security Standards council is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by all ecommerce stores and online service providers.

When a customer elects to complete a purchase at Contura website by using a direct payment gateway, then the credit card information used for the purchase is stored by Shopify. The information remains encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and is stored for only the duration of the purchase. As soon as the purchase transaction is completed, customer’s credit card information is deleted from the Shopify database.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

All the third party service providers associated with Contura only collect, use and disclose your personal information to the extent necessary in order for them to perform the services properly.

However, certain third party providers, such as Payment Gateways and other online or offline payment transaction processors have their own privacy policy as well. We are therefore, required to provide them with your information in purchase-related transactions. Users are, hence, recommended to read the privacy policy of these providers prior to accessing their payment gateways. They may use your information in a different manner than us and Contura doesn’t assume any legal liability of information misuse by these third party service providers.

If the third party service provider selected by you to complete a purchase transaction with Contura is located in or have facilities in a jurisdiction different than us, then your information will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the third party service provider is located. Our privacy policy can’t supersede this.

Also, once the user leave our website or are redirected to a third party website or application, they are no longer governed by the Privacy Policy of Contura or our Terms of Service. If the user is directed to other sites by clicking on active links posted on Contura website, then Contura is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and user is recommended to read their privacy policy.

7. SECURITY

Contura adopts reasonable precautions and follows industry best practices to protect your personal information. We ensure that your sensitive and private information is not misused, accessed by unauthorised parties, disclosed or altered or destroyed or inappropriately lost without any information to you.

8 . COOKIES

Whenever you use Contura website, the following cookies are sent to your system by us to make your shopping experience with Contura more effective:

1. _session_id: It is a unique token and is only sessional which allows Contura Shopify function to store information about your session such as your referrer id, your landing page, etc.
2. _shopify_visit:This cookie doesn’t hold any data and expires at midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day. It counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
3. shopify_uniq:This cookie also doesn’t hold any data and remains persistent for only 30 minutes from the last visit of the user. It is used by website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
4. Cart: It is a unique token and remains persistent for two weeks after the last visit of the user. It stores the information about the contents of your cart.
5. _storefront_digest: It is a unique token and indefinite. It the website login has a password, then this cookie is used to determine if the current visitor has access of not.

The user of this website may choose to opt-out of any of these cookies, however, it will alter their website experience.

9. AGE OF CONSENT

 The usage of Contura website by you indicates that you are an adult with at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence (minimum 18 years in India).
